We are proud to announce that APS has become a Strategic Partner of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Orląt School - a legendary institution educating successive generations of officers of the Polish Air Force.

Advanced Protection Systems (APS) is a rapidly growing Polish high-tech company founded by two scientists: Dr Maciej Klemm and Dr Radosław Piesiewicz. APS is developing the groundbreaking FIELDctrl 3D MIMO radar and, based on it, the SKYctrl anti-drone system, which effectively detects, tracks, classifies and neutralises unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The use of machine learning algorithms further enables it to automatically distinguish between drones and birds. Both FIELDctrl and SKYctrl were developed entirely in Poland and are the intellectual property of the company.

The APS team includes more than 150 experts from the technology, military and business fields - including scientists, engineers and software developers. The company designs, manufactures and deploys all technology components in-house: antennas, electronics, mechatronics components, software, as well as assembly, testing and final implementation. APS also supplies network-centric command and control software - CyView C2. The company's systems are fully flexible - any sensor or effector can be integrated, as all key technologies are developed in-house, without being restricted to specific solutions.

Systems are designed to protect human life, military assets and critical infrastructure in strategic locations. Around the world, SKYctrl protects infrastructure of national importance - including refineries, airports, seaports, military bases and government buildings - from drone threats. APS is also a strategic supplier of SKYctrl systems to the Polish Armed Forces. Prior to the collaboration, a series of rigorous tests were carried out to identify the best CUAS system to protect Poland from the drone threat.

SKYctrl systems are also supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where they support defence against all classes of drones, including Shahed 136. The selection of SKYctrl by the Polish Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine provides credible evidence of the system's effectiveness in protecting airspace - both in peacetime and under conditions of armed conflict.
