Another machine that will be on display at the Picnic is the Grob Aircraft G120TP, which was built from scratch in 2011 for Air Force training purposes.
It is used by the Royal Air Force of the UK, Sweden and the United States, among others. Pilots on five continents in 14 countries train on it.
It is a two-seat short take-off and landing aircraft with a Side-By-Side cabin layout, so it is used to train pilots of multi-role, transport aircraft and helicopters. It is certified for VFR and IFR flights. Thanks to the anti-icing system, it also flies in icy conditions.
During the Science and Aviation Picnic, it will be presented in flight and on a static exhibition.
