Before the official inauguration of the Picnic, the Hatz Classic - an aircraft of American design styled in the 1930s - will be presented.
The biplane in a biplane configuration was built from construction plans in 2017 in Rzeszów by the Air-Res company. The wings are made of wood and the fuselage consists of a truss of steel tubes. The entire aircraft is covered with aviation canvas.
The Hatz Classic has a 10-cylinder engine in star configuration with 150 hp. The tank holds 90 litres of fuel, on which it is possible to travel almost the whole of Poland in about four hours. The aircraft's cruising (travelling) speed is 130 km/h.
The owner is pilot Wojciech Hajdukiewicz.
