On 13 June, the Jubilee Gala was held at the Jablonowski Palace, bringing together many distinguished guests - representatives of the military, the world of science, business and public institutions.
The event's participants were welcomed by the host of the evening, Rector-Commander of the Polish Naval Air Academy Brigadier General Krzysztof Cur, who emphasised the importance of the 100th anniversary of the Orląt School and thanked everyone for coming.
The event provided an opportunity to honour individuals and institutions of particular merit for the development of the Academy. Commemorative statues commemorating the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eaglets from the hands of the Rector-Commander were received by: Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence Stanisław Wziątek, Director of the Department of Military Education Jakub Mykowski, Deputy Director of the Department of Military Education Prof. Dr. Leszek Wieczorek; Strategic Partners - representatives of companies: Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and Advanced Protection Systems; Gold Partners - representatives of companies: Lockheed Martin, Leonardo, Embraer Defense & Security and Enea; Silver Partner - representative of Korea Aerospace Industries Europe; Bronze Partners - representatives of: MBDA, PZL-Świdnik, Pratt&Whitney, Airbus, PKO BP, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Babcock, Northrop Grumman as well as Military Property Agency and Artus Air Craft.
The ceremony, full of emotion and reflection, was also an opportunity to share experiences and integrate communities involved in the development of the Academy.
During the Gala, talented students of the Air Force Military Academy performed - Youngjee Park played the piano, while the gala dinner was accompanied by the voice of vocalist Cpl. cadet Natalia Strzelczyk. The event was further enhanced by a concert by the outstanding Imagine String Quartet.
The gala was hosted by Joanna Dzieniszewska and Maj. Marcin Bełdyga.
