On June 5-6, 2025, the Air Force Academy is hosting a National Scientific Conference entitled. "Society in the Military, the Military in Society in the XIX-XXI Century. Relations and Processes in an Interdisciplinary Perspective". The ceremonial opening was performed by JM Rector-Commander of LAW Brig. Gen. Pil. Dr. Krzysztof Cur.

The event, organized periodically since 2019, provides an important forum for scholars of social, military and historical issues to exchange ideas.

The aim of the conference is an interdisciplinary analysis of the relationship between the military and society in the context of changes occurring from the 19th century to the present day. The organizers have invited representatives of various disciplines: historians, lawyers, sociologists, political scientists, anthropologists, economists, and experts in security sciences, social communication and media.

The conference program will be divided into two main thematic blocks:

- “Society in the military”

- “The military in society”

Among the issues to be discussed will be the conscription system and conditions of service, the financing and logistics of the army, technological advances, the public perception of military service, the military's participation in crisis situations, the cultivation of tradition, and the political aspects of the use of the armed forces.

The conference will provide an opportunity to compare and understand the socio-military processes that have taken place over three centuries, as well as to establish cooperation between representatives of different scientific communities.
