We are very happy to announce that the next star of the concert evening on June 13 will be the Choir of the Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin, operating for 22 years under the direction of Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch.
This over 100-member ensemble represents Szczecin and Poland on the world's largest stages. During its activity, the choir took part in hundreds of concerts and dozens of international tours, presenting in most EU countries, as well as in: Ecuador, Canada, Japan, China or Taiwan. With outstanding performances at many prestigious international competitions around the world, the ensemble has won 92 festival awards, including 14 Grand Prix, 53 Gold Medals, and received numerous recognition awards. The ensemble has also premiered a number of contemporary music - including maritime-themed works, as well as 16 released CD albums and 21 music videos. The Chorus of the Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin in recent years has had the pleasure of performing on one stage with many well-known artists, including Krzysztof Zalewski, Dawid Podsiadło, Kuba Badach, Leszek Możdżer, Kayah, Justyna Steczkowska, Grzegorz Turnau and Natalia Szroeder, as well as with the bands: Organek, Fisz Emade Tworzywo, Voo Voo, Mikromusic, Kroke, Grupa MoCarta.
Through its activities, passion and commitment, the choir has created a widely recognizable, distinctive image, thanks to which it is invited to various prestigious events - this July it will present at the World Expo in Japan, as well as at an international festival in Bali.
