14.06.2025 a unique Science and Aviation Picnic took place in Dęblin, organised on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eaglets. The event brought together thousands of aviation enthusiasts, residents of the region and guests from all over Poland.
One of the main elements of the jubilee celebrations was an air show, featuring, among others, the “Orlik” Aerobatic Team, Artur Kielak aboard the GB1 Game Bird, Maciej Kulaszewski on the Extra 300 LP, F-16, FA-50 and MiG-29 aircraft. Also impressive were the flights of historic aircraft, referring to the 100-year tradition of Polish military aviation. There was also an abundance of multi-role and combat helicopters.
Partners of the Orląt School's jubilee, including PGZ, APS, Lockheed Martin, Embraer, Babcock, Enea, Leonardo, KAI, PZL- Świdnik and AMW, presented their offer.
The event was a great opportunity to get acquainted with the range of scientific and technical exhibitions, meet LAW pilots and lecturers, and enjoy numerous educational and family attractions.
The picnic was not only an opportunity to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the School of Eagles, but also to promote military aviation and build links between the public and the military.
The celebration of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eaglets in Dęblin will long remain in the memory of the participants as an event full of emotions, national pride and admiration for the artistry of Polish pilots.
