On 12 June 2025, the Air Force Military Academy will host a jubilee scientific conference entitled. 'The 100th anniversary of the School of Eagles - dreams fulfilled'. The symposium will provide an opportunity to recall the glorious history of the eponymous institution.

Throughout its existence, outstanding pilots were trained at the Eagle School, but at the same time the national elite was formed. Learning to operate modern equipment was always accompanied by the building of a patriotic ethos. On many occasions over these hundred years, the school's alumni have demonstrated both the highest professional skills and a deep commitment to values, successfully passing the test of humanity and love for the Fatherland. During the conference, we will revisit these special moments.

The event is divided into three thematic panels: The Second Republic, The Second World War Years (1939-1945) and The People's Republic of Poland and the Polish People's Republic. The conference will culminate in a panel discussion entitled 'The Modern School of Eaglets - a marriage of history and modernity. Lecturers about their school'.

Each part of the event will be an opportunity to listen to interesting papers prepared by distinguished historians and aviation enthusiasts. After the ceremonial opening of the conference by the Rector-Commander, Prof. Włodzimierz Suleja, Ph.D. - a distinguished researcher of the history of the Second Republic of Poland - will present his paper On aviation ethos in the years of the Second Republic of Poland. There will also be a presentation of the profiles of aviators connected with our University who have gone down in the pages of history. The conference '100th Anniversary of the School of Aviators. Dreams fulfilled" will certainly become a space for the exchange of insights also outside the lecture theatre.

It is addressed not only to graduates, lecturers, cadets and civilian students of our Academy, but also to our guests - Friends of the School of Orląt. We encourage young people in particular to attend the event so that they can learn about a cross-section of the 100-year history of today's Air Force Military Academy. We also invite aviation history enthusiasts to discuss the past of the Jubilant School of Eagles in an open, academic manner. Despite the difficult, often turbulent history of the 20th century, the academy has not only survived but also thrived, remaining a symbol of tradition and modernity.
