On April 22, a three-day conference “Digitization of the Justice-changes in the circulation, form and process of archiving documents and data” began at the School of Eagles.
The session was opened by the Director of Archives Dr. Danuta Hać, on behalf of the Rector-Commander spoke the Pro Rector for Military Affairs Colonel Pilot Dr. Wojciech Wróblewski, the inaugural lecture was given by the Pro Rector for Scientific Affairs Dr. Paweł Gołda. SAWS President Teresa Zaręba also spoke.
In the era of dynamic development of digital technologies and the growing role of modern IT tools in public administration, the justice system is also undergoing significant changes.
The conference brings together archivists, representatives of academia, court administration, public institutions, practicing lawyers, court IT specialists, records management experts and people interested in the modern approach to records management in the digital age. The event responds to dynamic changes in the digitization of court documents and the amendment of regulations on their circulation and archiving.
The session will cover topics in:
- electronic workflow in judicial clerkship;
- legal aspects related to transfer of archival materials to state archives;
- standards and challenges related to long-term archiving of digital data;
- issues related to EZD system in common courts.
The conference is organized by the Association of Archivists of the Institute of Justice and the Air Force Academy Archives.
