The celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Dęblin School of Eaglets will begin with the Inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2024/2025, which will take place on 3 October 2024 in the Cinema Hall of the University Club.
The inauguration of the academic year is one of the most important ceremonies in the annual calendar of the Polish Air Force University. During it, first-year students of military and civilian studies are accepted into the academic community. Also, awards are presented to students and employees of the university for scientific, teaching and organizational achievements in the past academic year. Furthermore. participants have the opportunity to listen to speeches by guests, occasional letters sent by the highest state authorities; as well as participate in the presentation of the Rector-Commandant showing the achievements and potential of the Air Force University, as well as listen to the inaugural lecture.
This year's ceremony will be honored by the presence of the Undersecretary of State for the Ministry of National Defense, Mr. Stanisław Wziątek, and the inaugural lecture on "AH 64E - a milestone in the transformation of the Polish Armed Forces" will be delivered by the Head of the Helicopter Combat Aviation Department of the Air Force Inspectorate of the General Directorate for Air Forces, Colonel Krzysztof Kwiatkowski.
