The year 2025 marks a special anniversary - the 100th anniversary of the School of Eaglets in Deblin. This is an important anniversary not only for the city, but also for the entire military community and lovers of Polish aviation history. The School of Eaglets, also known as the Officers' School of Aviation, had its beginning right in Grudziądz and over the years has raised generations of outstanding pilots of the Polish Army. On this occasion, on April 26, 2025, Grudziądz will host a celebration commemorating this momentous event, linking the past with the present and the future of Polish military aviation.
As part of the celebration, the Orlik Aerobatic Team from the 42nd Training Air Base in Radom will present its skills in a dynamic show. Meanwhile, a static exhibition will feature the SW-4 multi-role helicopter.
Jubilee celebration program:
- march of subdivisions;
- solemn roll call;
- static and dynamic show of SW-4 and PZL-130 aircraft;
- promotional stands;
- performance of PEJOTA LAW band;
- concert of the Military Orchestra.
The celebration will be an excellent opportunity to commemorate the school's heritage, meet with history and celebrate together with residents and guests from all over Poland.
