On April 16-17, in the year of celebration of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eagles, the newly opened sports and entertainment hall will be the arena for the struggle of the best volleyball players in uniform. The cadres and cadets of the Naval Academy, the Land Forces Academy, the Military University of Technology and the hosts of the competition, the Air Force Military Academy, will compete for the title of the best team in the Championship of Military Universities in volleyball.

The year 2025 marks a special anniversary - the 100th anniversary of the School of Eaglets in Deblin. This is an important anniversary not only for the city, but also for the entire military community and lovers of Polish aviation history. The School of Eaglets, also known as the Officers' School of Aviation, had its beginning right in Grudziądz and over the years has raised generations of outstanding pilots of the Polish Army. On this occasion, on April 26, 2025, Grudziądz will host a celebration commemorating this momentous event, linking the past with the present and the future of Polish military aviation.

The two-day Conference “Security of Airports and Seaports” began at the Air Force Military Academy in Deblin on April 14. The event is one of the most prestigious scientific events in Poland, dedicated to the integration of civil and state aviation and shipping communities. This year's edition offers a unique space to present innovative solutions and conduct in-depth discussions on key challenges in the security of aviation and maritime infrastructure, as well as its technological, industrial and human resources base.

As part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eagles, the Polish Army Chess Championships were held April 7-11, bringing together the best military chess players from across the country. The event, organized with great professionalism, not only provided sporting excitement, but also provided an excellent opportunity to integrate representatives from various units of the Polish Army and to showcase our University's new sports facility, perfectly suited for such an event.
