On May 24, 2025 at 12:00 on the main square in Grudziadz, a solemn roll call was held to celebrate the great anniversary of the School of Eaglets. Already at the beginning of this special event there could be no shortage of aviation accents, as during the raising of the national flag there was a flight of PZL-130 ORLIK aircraft from the 42nd School Aviation Base.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eagles in Deblin, a three-day scientific conference on contemporary challenges and innovations in aviation, navigation and satellite technologies was ceremonially inaugurated on 14.05.2025. The event brought together experts, scientists, military and representatives of industry institutions to discuss key issues related to the development of modern technologies and their application in transportation and security.
The focus is on topics such as satellite geodesy and precise satellite positioning, which are the basis of modern navigation systems. Conference participants share experiences in the use of space technology and GNSS techniques in air traffic, as well as in maritime and land navigation. Special emphasis was placed on area navigation, which plays a key role in optimizing flight paths and increasing the efficiency of air operations.
Panel discussions will also cover safety in navigation and transportation, air operations procedures, as well as the use of GIS in aviation - both in the context of aerial mapping and other forms of spatial visualization. Experts will present innovations in mobile mapping, unmanned aerial systems (BSPs) and advanced techniques such as photogrammetry, remote sensing, image reconnaissance and airborne laser scanning.
The conference also touches on the topics of laser satellite observations, transfer of time systems, and the importance of aviation meteorology and climatology in flight planning and airspace management. There will also be space to analyze modern transportation systems and the future of aviation education and training, which is part of the mission of the School of Aeronautics as a center of excellence for aviation personnel.
The anniversary conference is not only a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience, but also an opportunity to highlight the role of the Orląt School in the development of Polish aviation and the formation of modern technologies in the service of safety and mobility.
