Celebration Schedule

The celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Dęblin School of Eaglets will begin with the Inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2024/2025, which will take place on 3 October 2024 in the Cinema Hall of the University Club.

The 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Aviation is to honor the Deans of the Faculty, people who have served the Faculty and long-term employees. A conference will be held to present the history of the Faculty of Aviation, its structure and employees, as well as scientific and didactic achievements.

For decades, attempts have been made to break the unwavering will of the Polish Nation, but to no avail. However, as Marshal Józef Piłsudski said: "To be defeated and not give in is a victory, to be victorious and rest on one's laurels is a defeat." The Poles never surrendered. After 123 years of partition, Poland regained its coveted independence in 1918.

We invite you to participate in the IX International Scientific Conference: Computational Methods in Engineering Science (CMES’24), which will take place on November 27-29, 2024, in Sandomierz.

The cadets of the legendary School of Eaglets will begin the ceremonial celebration of Cadets Day – a holiday for all students of uniformed schools.

On December 10, 2024, the Polish Air Force University entertainment and sports hall will be officially opened and the name "Hall of the 100th Anniversary of the Eaglet School" will be given.

The Conference is one of the two most important events dedicated to military specialists responsible for Close Air Support and Air-Land integration from NATO and other countries signatories of standardization documents NATO ATP-3.3.2.2 and/or US Joint Fire Support Executive Steering Committee Memorandum of Agreement.

The ceremonial inauguration will be performed by the Rector-Commandant of the Air Force Academy. It will be a unique moment in the history of the university. This event will highlight both the rich tradition of educating subsequent generations of pilots and their invaluable contribution to the country's defense over the century.

On 30th March – 5th April 2025, Polish Air Force University will host 4th edition of the International Air Force Academies Cadets’ Week. The event is mainly dedicated to cadets and young officers of international Air Force Academies, however also international military academies representing other Armed Forces participate in the event. The aim of the event is to familiarize international delegations with the system of education and training of the PAFU, as well as experience exchange in this area with other participants of the event. International delegations will take part in specialized and sports classes, will visit PAFU training facilities and military units nearby. Moreover, they will visit Polish Air Force Museum in Dęblin and will get familiarized with the history and culture of Poland while visiting its tourist unique places.

On April 6-12, 2025, the Jabłonowski Palace will host the Open Chess Championship of the Polish Army on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Eaglet School

The conference "Security of airports and seaports" (14-15.04.2025) is a noteworthy scientific event in the country, dedicated to the integration of civil, state aviation and maritime navigation. This year's edition offers a unique platform for the presentation of innovative solutions and the conducting of in-depth substantive discussions on key challenges related to the security of aviation and maritime infrastructure, as well as its technological, industrial and human resources.
The conference is intended to serve as a forum for dialogue and collaboration among a diverse range of experts and practitioners in the field of transport security, including representatives from academic institutions, airports, secondary schools, and professionals involved in the aviation and maritime sectors. The event provides a collaborative platform for experts from a variety of disciplines who work in the field of transport security.

On April 16-17, 2025, the LAW sports hall will host the Volleyball Championship of Military Academies, which will be attended by AWL Wroclaw, AMW Gdynia, WAT Warsaw, ASzWoj Rembertów and LAW Deblin

On April 22-25, 2025, the 21st Organizational and Training Conference of the Association of Archivists of Justice Institutions will be held at the Polish Air Force University. The conference theme will be "Digitization of Justice - changes in the circulation, form and process of archiving documents and data". The event is organized by the Association of Archivists of Justice Institutions and the Archives of the Polish Air Force University. Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, and the General Directorate of State Archives also accepted the invitation to the conference. The conference will cover, among others, computerization of office activities, preparation of archival documentation, protection, provision and circulation of documents in electronic form, use of electronic document management systems and prohibition of access to them by unauthorized persons.

We have the honor to invite you to the cyclical Scientific Conference organized by the Institute of Navigation of the Polish Air Force University with the participation of the Polish Navigation Forum, the Association of Polish Climatologists and the Navigation Student Research Club entitled: "NC 2025 - THE ROLE OF NAVIGATION IN AIR, SEA AND LAND TRANSPORT". The conference will be held in Dęblin on May 14-16, 2025. We are very pleased to announce that the conference will be held as part of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of our University.

On May 21st, we celebrate the centenary in a special way – through shared effort and big hearts! On this day, we are organizing a charity run covering 100 kilometers, where each participant will run at least 1 kilometer so that together we can symbolically reach 100 km for the 100th anniversary of our school.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to support the father of our friend, Marcin Gomółka, who is in need of our help.

The celebration of the anniversary of “100 years of the School of Eaglets”, will take place on May 24, 2025 in Grudziadz.

On 27th - 30th May 2025, Polish Air Force University together with Military University of Technology for the first time, will host European Union Military Academies Commandants’ Seminar – EUMACS 2025 represented by all Armed Forces of the EU countries during the Polish presidency of the EU Council falling per I st half of the year 2025.

The Military Academies Championship will be held on June 2-4, 2025 in overcoming an obstacle course, in which the following participants will take part: AWL Wrocław, AMW Gdynia, WAT Warszawa, ASzWoj Rembertów and LAW Dęblin.

The National Scientific Conference SOCIETY IN THE MILITARY, MILITARY IN SOCIETY IN THE XIX-XXI CENTURY. RELATIONSHIPS AND PROCESSES IN INTERDISCIPLINARY CONSIDERATION has been held at LAW regularly since 2019. The idea of the conference is to present the issue in the broadest possible interdisciplinary way, so we solicit the participation of: historians, lawyers, sociologists, political scientists, anthropologists, economists, specialists in security sciences, social communication science and media. The design of the conference is to be divided into two main parts: „Society in the military” and „The military in socjety”, in which scientific reflection will be carried out on the following topics: the organization of conscription; the conditions of military service; the financing, base and victualling of the army; technological progress; the social aspects of military service; the prestige and image of the military; social roles; military support in crisis situations; the commemoration and cultivation of traditions; the use of the military as a tool of pressure and political struggle; disciplinary problems. The conference allows comparing the evolution of the above problems from the perspective of several centuries.

On June 7, 2025, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Dęblin School of Aeronautics by inaugurating the first of the series of gliding competitions for landing accuracy for the Rector-Commander Cup of the Air Force Military Academy. Military Academy. This spectacular and exciting form of competition will test the precision and skills of glider pilots during landing.
The idea behind the event is to highlight the key role of gliding in shaping the careers of military pilots. The organizers of the Competition are the LAW Gliding Scientific Circle, “Awiatorzy - Foundation of Aviation People,” and Krosno Airport.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eaglets, we cordially invite you to the Open-Air Cinema, which will be held in the green areas next to the amphitheater of the University Club.

One of the key points of the celebration is a scientific conference under the theme “100 years of the School of Eaglets - dreams fulfilled”, which will be held on 12.06.2025 in Deblin. The event aims to summarize the achievements of the school and show its role in shaping the elite of Polish aviation. The conference also provides an opportunity to reflect on the future of aviation training in Poland.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the School of Eagles, the Air Force Military Academy is organizing a unique Aviation Picnic.

On August 17-23, 2025, the Air Force Academy in Dęblin will host chess players from several countries who meet at the chessboards annually. For many years, the Polish national team has been among the top teams - winning the competition several times.

The Polish Air Force University is celebrating a special anniversary in 2025 - the 100th anniversary of its founding. The celebration of this special anniversary will be highlighted by the Air Show in Radom, where tradition meets modernity, and the history of Polish military aviation will be presented in a unique way.

As in previous years, the Polish Air Force University will have its promotional stand. The participation of the Polish Air Force University will provide an excellent opportunity to establish international contacts and collaboration.

The Military Academies Basketball Championships will take place from October 20-22, 2025, with participants including: AWL Wrocław, AMW Gdynia, WAT Warsaw, ASzWoj Rembertów, and LAW Dęblin.

From October 22-24, one of the foremost scientific conferences dedicated to the application of unmanned technologies in the security and transport sectors will take place. The conference serves as an interdisciplinary platform for knowledge-sharing and discussion on the deployment of unmanned aerial systems and autonomous vehicles in uniformed services and the transport sector.

This year’s edition focuses on key technological, operational, and regulatory aspects of unmanned system development. The agenda includes presentations of innovative solutions, case studies, and panel discussions on safety, interoperability, and the future of autonomous technologies.

The conference is aimed at representatives of research institutions, uniformed services, public administration, and the industrial sector, offering a platform for collaboration and dialogue on the challenges of integrating unmanned technologies into key operational areas.

The Military Universities Championships in Futsal will be held on November 18-20, 2025. The event will be attended by the Military University of Land Forces in Wroclaw, the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia, the Military University of Technology in Warsaw, the War Studies University in Rembertów and the Polish Air Force University in Dęblin.

The XI Scientific Conference "Logistics 2025" will be held on December 4-5, 2025, at the renowned "School of Eagles." Logistics 2025 is part of the celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the "School of Eagles." Since 2015, this event has been a meeting place for both practitioners and theorists, true enthusiasts of logistics from across the country.
